HEROIN

The other day I randomly chose a song by The Velvet Underground called "Run Run Run" that introduced me not only to the song, but to the entire album that I'd been negligent to. So finally, after almost two years of having them decorate my Itunes yet never given the chance to be heard, I listened to the entire self-titled album.

Luckily for me, I was dropped with a bombshell of a song that I've been playing night and day. Any guesses what song?

Vibrant electric guitar, an increasing tempo that has a climatic buildup, and lyrics that are free falling, this song made The Velvet Underground become a staple in my musical taste. Andy Warhol managed the band and insisted that German singer Nico sing with them on the album that Heroin was recorded on.
