Another Raconteur song. Sorry I've been lackadaisical. Ever since school has ended I haven't turned around once to think about the papers and long evenings/morning spent in editing suites, inevitably paying with cash to tie up loose ends with my procrastination.
This song is striking. It is cool and mellow, great for the summer breeze blowing between my toes. My hair is damp and the fan is blowing it dry, and this song is just another melody in my night so far. "Together" is so striking because it hits you in a small swoop, never stepping on the heels of itself. It just glides freely; melancholy is not its intention, but in certain punches just when its about to break into the stereotypical burdened sad-story, it hits us with backup voices that almost sound shrill, but we enjoy the bite. It could be sour like a lemon, but its sweetened just enough to pass through us smooth and serene. Think back of childhood summer nights.
This song seems to touch like damp belated rain falling from leaves on wet pavement glistening in the eve.
Oh, sad to say, but I learned how to embed a semester to late. My embarrassment at the obvious solution makes me blush.
Hello.

TakeAwayShows
One of my favorite websites on the Internet, the french based La Blogotheque (TakeAwayShows) is every indie music kids favorite hideaway. I explore this site almost daily, looking for new songs, artists, and moments. It truly opens my eyes to new sounds that are filmed in such a pure setting with little to no direction. "Arcade Fire" fits their entire ensemble of a band into an elevator to perfom their pergatory-related "Neon Bible", which truly inspires us all.
I just wanted to give you all a chance to remember this site before you decide to forget it like everything else. Also, here are a few of my favorites:
